Summer Dress Edit

Spring is well settled, and it feels like summer is getting in earlier with the longer and warmer days, the color of the sky and all the trees and flowers blooming. Here in SF is never TOO hot for me to be wearing a dress without a jacket on, I think that’s one of the reasons I never really bothered on getting on with the trend. But after last summer when more than one wished the temperatures drop to the usual Bay Area weather, I am stocking with some basics. I have items in my closet that are very specific to wear on weekends, or more casual outings, and others that have a strict 9 to 5, Monday-Friday wear. However, I love the diversity yet versatility of pieces that can serve both.

I like my closet to have fewer, better, and practical pieces I can mostly wear for both work and leisure.

Given current events, and the fact that I am working from home, I pulled out all my spring/summer pieces to see what I could start wearing even if I am staying in all day. I did a massive clean up of some pieces that, although were really cute, didn’t fit my style anymore (some pieces were almost 6 years old, meaning they no longer fit haha). This opened up a lot of space in the drawer so I decided to refresh some of the pieces with new ones. After wearing sweats every day for almost three months, believe me, I am EXCITED.

I put together a list of some of my favorite dresses for the season. I am loving ruffles and tied tops and linen dresses, more of a midi length kind of girl, but included some mini ones that are just a dream as well. Also, in case you haven’t noticed, I am way away from black this season. I still love it, but I have been incorporating more color to my wardrobe, and I am enjoying every piece.

As always, thank you for reading!
